The individual in this position will perform essential functions, including assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts. Specific service and marketing responsibilities are also required; e.g., pre-qualifying new business, informing and educating clients about coverage, quoting new and renewal policies, providing technical support to producers, and assisting with or completing other tasks as directed.
This position anticipates active account rounding and soliciting of new business/additional lines of coverage, and actively seeking referrals from current clients.
College degree or equivalent insurance experience.
Ability to communicate well with others, both orally and in writing.
Property & Casualty Insurance License.
Complete knowledge of Commercial insurance products.
Thorough knowledge of insurance marketing, rating, and underwriting procedures.
Ability to utilize computer programs and understand functionality.
Can set priorities and manage workflow.
